How the ramp works

1. Set the height
Lift the support leg to the setting that matches your sofa, bed or boot. The M ramp has two levels of height adjustment, the L ramp four, so the slope stays gentle rather than steep.

2. Your pet walks up
The carpet surface is scratch-resistant and non-slip, so paws grip on the way up and on the way back down, which is the direction most dogs hesitate over.

3. Move it out of the way
The ramp is light enough to lift with one hand when you are done. Stand it against a wall or carry it out to the car, so it is not left in the middle of the room.

You set the ramp against the boot lip and your dog walks in. On the L there are four height settings, so a tall SUV gets the same gentle slope as a low sofa.

Will it suit your pet?
The right size depends on the height you need to cover. A longer ramp at the same height gives a gentler slope, which is the part that matters for a pet that is already hesitant.
- Older dogs and dogs recovering from injury. The ramp removes the impact of the landing, which is the part that loads the joints.
- Small breeds and short-legged breeds. Dachshunds, corgis and toy breeds reach sofa and bed height without the jump.
- Cats that need a route up. The same non-slip surface works for cats as well as dogs.
- Sofas, beds and car boots. M 70 cm suits lower sofas and beds; L 100 cm suits taller SUV and van boots.
- Large and heavy dogs. The ramp is built around small and medium pets, so check your dog's weight and size before ordering.
- Measure your height first. Pick the length against the height you actually need to cover, not the room it will sit in.
